The Character
Full name: Emily Marie Frost (The Second, but her great great grandmother is dead anyway.)
Nicknames: Ami, Amicakes, Amino, PINK-HEAD, Ami Adversity, Frost, Frosty, Frostbyte.
Gender: =D
Date of birth: February 13, '60
Age: Seventeen
Year: Seventh
House: Gryffindor
Wand: Seeing as Ami's birthday falls between January 21 and February 17, it's a nice Holly wand. About twelve and a half inches long, it's great for Charms work. It does, however, have a rather unusual core of hair from a sphinx. It was also rather stiff, not exactly bendy or flexible.
Blood status: Pure.
Sexuality: Heterosexual.
Ethnicity: British, although there seems to be a bit of Russian blood in her.

Hair: Ami's hair wasn't exactly what you would expect. It's an eye-popping bubblegum-pink. Long, curly, and thick. In fact, some of her good friends called her Pink-Head.
Eyes: Ami had big, brown, cinnamon-ish eyes. A bit boring compared to her hair, but not everything about the girl had to be different! She actually liked them, for a change.
Build: Emily was a short girl. Four foot eleven, to be exact. She was also very un-athletic, yet still slender. Ami wore heels most of the time though, so you couldn't really tell.
Distinguishing features: Well, Ami's hair was definetly a distinguishing feature! Her nose was also pierced, but she didn't wear a ring most of the time. She liked to stick to studs. Plus, she had two moles on her left cheek. But those didn't really matter that much. The girl also had a scar behind her ear, from falling off her roof at the age of six.
Face claim: Audrey Kitching.
Overall appearance: Seeing as we should do this properly, we might as well start from the top of her head to the end of her toes.
Her hair, as I have said, was a bright bubblegum pink. She was a natural blonde, but blonde wasn't exactly her usual hair color. First, she had dyed her hair red. (A natural-looking red, too!) She then left her hair red underneath, with blonde on the top. But even then it was rather boring. She dyed her hair all blonde again, and then got blue and brown highlights. But then that also got boring, so Ami dyed her hair pink of all colors, with black underneath and white tips. Although, in her final year, Ami settled down to dying her whole head an eye-watering bubblegum pink.
Ami's eyes were a big, cinnamon brown. Although they were usually seen rolling around in her head or glaring at somebody, they were absolutely stunning when she smiled. They seemed to sparkle, and you could almost see the joyful-ness in them. Her face structure was lovely, too. Ami's cheekbones weren't too big, giving her that weird-pointy-big-cheeks look. Her nose was prominent, and her lips naturally pink. The top lip was a bit thinner than most, whilst the bottom lip nice and somewhere between normal and big. Her teeth were nice, straight, and white seeing as she brushed them every day.
Emily wasn't exactly gifted in the chest area, but she wasn't a pancake. She had a nice, long torso. Her stomach was flat, and she was a rather slender girl. Not slender enough for people to give her funny looks, though. Her arms were nice and long, but Ami had what she called "man-hands". Compared to others, however, her hands were medium-sized. Fingers long and thin. Her waist flared out to her hips, giving her that slight "hourglass" figure. Not too much, though. Ami's bum was nice in her opinion, although she didn't spend too much time looking at it in the mirror. Her legs were short, considering her height, but she was a surprisingly fast runner. Of course, running only concluded into many accidents. So Emily liked to stick to walking. Her feet were medium-sized, and usually adorned in huge high-heels. It took her a while to get used to them, without tripping and falling every five seconds. But the girl eventually got the hang of them.
Ami liked to dress in...unusual outfits. She absolutely loved dresses and skirts, you'd occasionally see her in skinny jeans, though. Her clothes were bright and eye-popping, too. And her style varied from day to day. For example, one day you could see her in a nice white sundress, the next day a yellow tutu with pink tights and a purple tee-shirt. It was absolutely crazy to even consider trying to copy her style. (A few people have tried, but failed.) Ami also liked sunglasses, too. Big, huge sunglasses that covered half of her face. Her neck was usually adorned with big, chunky, costume jewlery. (Usually Hello Kitty stuff.) Her feet, again, were often in big high heels, sometimes ballet flats. Emily was interested in fashion. She hoped to be a part of it someday, whether she was a model, photographer, designer, or even a hair-stylist.

Amortentia:
`freshly fallen rain, it soothes her
`pine trees, it reminds her of home
`cherry blossoms, that's what her Nana smelled like
Patronus: A friendly, big moose! She had no idea why, but it always came when she said the Patronus Charm. Ami had a theory that it was due to her stuffed moose, moosey whom she had ever since she was four. It might've also had something to do with the whole Remus/Remoose thing..
Boggart: Emily absolutely HATED spiders. They had too many legs for her liking. Plus, if you ever stepped through a cobweb you'd get all sticky. Spiders were also blood-suckers, even if it was blood from a fly. It was still blood. and blood was gross.
Mirror of Erised: Miss Frost's heart truly wanted to become a model. She doubted that this would ever happen, seeing as she was so short. But Ami still hoped. If her dream didn't come true, you could still probably see her behind the camera or with a curling iron in her hand. Her heart just really wanted for her to become a model.
Worst Memory: Emily grew up in the English countryside, where there were hundreds of acres of wood surrounding her house. That day, her Aunt Vicky and her Uncle Scott came to visit. Along with them were her cousins Victor, Michael, Ashton, and Amber. At that time, Ami was seven years old. She was fearless, you could see her climbing up trees or up on her roof. Swinging on vines or jumping across a deep, rushing river. Playing with snakes and digging through the dirt for worms. (Something her mother highly disapproved.)
Victor, Michael, and Ami were playing a game of Truth-or-Dare. It was Michael's turn to pick somebody, and Ami was the lucky person. She had, of course, chosen Dare. Little did she know that on their previous visit, Victor and Michael had found an Acromantula nest deep in the woods surrounding her house. Michael had dared Ami to take about sixty-four paces into the forest from the side of her house, and fourty-nine paces diaganolly to the right. She did as she was told, and Emily stumbled upon thousands of baby spiders, surrounding her, crawling up her legs, in her hair. Two seconds later, she was haulin' ass out of that forest.
Best Memory: Ami's best memory? Well, it was a bit foolish, but here goes:
Emily had woken up to a lovely day, all sunshiney and bright. it was sometime in her fourth year, if she remembered correctly. She had just (surprisingly) got an 'Outstanding' on her Transfiguration exam, and McGonagall might've even smiled at her. Ami couldn't tell if she did, but she liked to think that she did. She was bolting through the halls in her four-inch heels, eager to tell her fellow dorm-mates. After telling the Fat Lady the password (time-turner) and sprinting up the stairs, Emily burst through the doorof her dormitory. All the girls cheered and clapped her on the back, but she realized something just then. On her whole journey running through the halls, she had not fallen, nor tripped, nor hurt herself or anybody else. This thought just made her day even better, if that was possible.

Overall Personality:
Emily Marie Frost. Now, when you'd hear the name you'd think, "Oh my, she sounds like such a lovely girl!". When you'd meet her, you'd be thinking, "What the hell is up with this kid?" See how a name can just throw you off the track like that? Ami was in no means a perfect child. In fact, she seemed to be the fathest thing from perfect. But that's what she considered herself: perfectly unperfect.
Ami was a bit...louder than usual. But then there are many definitions for "loud". One definition being, "strongly audible; having exceptional volume or intensity". Another being, "clamorous, vociferous, or blatant; noisy". And of course, the last oen just so happened to be, "garish, conspicuous, or ostentatious, as colors, dress, or the wearer of garish dress". Now, Emily seemed to be all three of them. She was indeed loud, the girl had never learned how to whisper. And again, she was loud, you could see her skipping down the halls singing at the top of her lungs or at a wild party in the Room of Requirement. And yet again, she was loud. Her hair, clothes, shoes, everything about her was just loud. She screamed for attention, and that's what she got. And Ami didn't mind what kind of attention she got, she only cared if she had it.
Now, from all of this attention you'd think that she'd be a bit...conceited. Vain. Egotistic. Just plain big-headed. And you'd know what? You'd be right! Emily was indeed a
Remember those problems I briefly mentioned earlier? Well, those problems consisted of: A) getting in trouble, B) getting in a fight and even more trouble, and C) getting in so much trouble because that was the seventeenth time the teacher had caught her doing that. But primping wasn't the only thing that got her in trouble. Pranks, fights, parties, turning people different colors, mimicking the teachers, and trying (but not succeeding) to get the house elves to wear unicorn horns and prance around and be her servants. Plus, there was the one major factor that got her in trouble so much: homework. Now, this generally came from McGonagall. But it was known to come from a few other teachers, such as Slughorn and (-insert DADA teacher here-). All of these things landed her in a couple of detentions, but luckily she was never sent to Dumbledore's office. Even though it would give her a better chance to rip his eyes out of his head.
Her detention ratio was usually two-to-three times a week.
But you know what? Aside from all of those..not-really-that-good traits, there was a nice, kind, genorous girl deep down inside. Most people would never consider this fact, but those people were probably on her "bad" side. Now, only if you were the right person at the right place at the right time would you see this. Whether she was helping a first year with their homework, or a third year pick up their books. You could see her doing acts of kindness every once in a while. Or, late at night in her dormitory she could be seen with her friends, having a good time, not even thinking about herself for a couple hours. Being selfless. Being happy in the good kind of way that when she was nice that made everybody else happy. Optimistic. But this was a rare occasion, so you'd be lucky to be a witness. She might even help you one day, so you'd best be on the lookout.
But it was the traits that put her in Gryffindor House that mattered most. Ami was indeed brave, loyal, daring, and boy did she have a lot of nerve. The girl hadn't exactly gotten to the point where she was chivalrous, yet. But brave she was, Ami was nearly fearless unless it involved spiders. That was the one weakness that could make her run away screaming like a five-year-old. And fiercely loyal, she always (and I mean always) stood up for her friends. She kept their secrets. She always had a helping hand ready. A shoulder to cry on. Just a smile and a pat on the back. But enough of that, let's get back to her daring. Now, daring and nerve kind of fall hand in hand, as does Ami and trouble. She had a lot of nerve for a Frost, the same as her great great grandmother as her father would say. Ami was a bold girl, and that caused her to get in a few scuffles. Whether it was with the teachers or students. (But now, of course, it wasn't physical in anyway with the teachers.)
Well, I guess you could say that that was Ami in an hour's worth of typing. =D

Place of birth: Ami was born in Ryedale, England. It's in North Yorkshire county, and she lived in a nice house in the country. It had numerous acres of woods surrounding the back and sides of her house.
Overall History:
Billy was working at the Daily Prophet that day, typing up a story on House-Elves. Elizabeth had come in to visit her sister, Veronica. Billy heard the tinkling of the chimes as the door opened, and raised his head to see if his boss hda come back from lunch. Instead, his blue-green eyes met those of a warm cinnamon brown. William was, at that time, twenty-two and still quite handsome. Elizabeth was twenty and absolutely stunning. You could say that they fell head over heels in love. After two years of dating, Billy finally proposed. They had a lovely little Summer wedding that took place at his mother's house. And, after a night of love-making, Elizabeth found out two weeks later that she was pregnant. She had a darling little boy named Liam, and lived in a darling little house in the countryside, with her darling little relatives coming to visit everyday. Let's, however, fast-forward a few years.
"BLOODY MURDER!" This was Eliza's fourth time around, but that made no difference. The pain still tortured her like crazy, and after the final push a wailing red-faced cherub came out. As the nurses washed her off, Eliza had fallen asleep. Billy scribbled her name on the card. The two had finally decided on a name, after a couple hours. They had decided to name their baby girl after her great great grandmother. Emily Marie Frost II. After three days, Elizabeth and William brought her back to chaos. Chaos being her four-year-old brother Liam, three-year-old brother Robbie, and her one-year-old sister Veronica (after Eliza's sister). All three of them prodded and pinched Ami, trying to determine what was so special about this THING that Mommy and Daddy cared about so much. All of them were jealous for attention, that was until Eliza became pregnant again. Isadora was now introduced into the Frost clan.
By the time that she was five, Emily had met all one hundred and twenty-two of her relatives, including the person whom she was named after. "Nana" was her favorite person in the whole entire Frost/Smythe family. She could sit on her lap for hours, just listening to the stories that Nana had collected over the years. Stories of her years at Hogwarts, stories of her adventures with David (her husband and Ami's great great grandfather), stories of nearly everything exciting she had done in her life. But all of that changed when she was six. Nana had finally passed away, at one hundred and eleven years old. At her funeral, Ami, for once, was silent. All she could do was stare as they placed Nana in her gray stone coffin, and lift her down into the ground. But that night, Ami tossed and turned in her bed. She couldn't go to sleep! Nor could she go to sleep anytime after that, until Eliza finally took her to see a doctor. Ami was officially diagnosed with Insomnia. But after that, Ami had changed. She was no longer the sweet little girl that her family once knew. She was now a rough, dirty, tomboy.
Emily had traded in her pigtails for ponytails, barbie dolls for action figures, bubble baths for mudpies, dress-up games for sports games. Most of the females in her family disapproved, while most of the males were happy that one of the many Frost/Smythe girls were finally taking an interest in sports. Most of her male cousins were happy, too, that they had an actual girl that they could mess around with. Ami was content with the way she was, now. Well, she was until the whole Victor-Michael-Truth-or-Dare-huge-spiders-hauling-ass experience. Ami had yet again changed. This time, into sort of a mixture of the two things she was. This time, into the girl that you saw now. She still did stuff like climbing up trees, except with less grace and more falling and bruises. Her dexterity had suffered quite a bit, coming out of that forest.
Just like any other Frost, Ami had gotten her Hogwarts letter at the age of eleven. She got a few "Congratulations!" presents here and there, but not many. She mostly just got a few hugs. But after shopping in Diagon Alley, after waving goodbye to the huge crowd of people who had accompanied Billy, Eliza, and Izzy, Ami boarded the train. (Liam, Robbie, and Veronica were also with her but they don't matter that much.) She stumbled down the train with her trunk, looking for a compartment. Somewhere near the middle of the Hogwarts Express, Ami finally found a compartment full of other first years that were willing to let her sit with them. These first years just so happened to become her absolute best friends.
Emily's Hogwarts years weren't exactly eventful. Of course, there were detentions and Howlers. Parties and birthdays. Fights, spirited debates, and a few curses/hexes/jinxes. Even a hangover or two. But it was her seventh year that Ami was looking forward to, most. The year where she would be at the top of the school.

elise didn't know what she was doing, nor did she know where the hell she was going. she didn't know anything except that she had to fucking get out of there. it was too much for her, her parents were too much for her, expecting her to accept the news and be happy with it. she was happy that her mother was having a baby, but moving? no. elise addams and the rest of her family had moved here, charleston, south carolina, little less than a year ago from chicago, illinois. her father's company had relocated him to the new building here, and it had taken els ages to make friends. the change of scenery was quite dramatic, seeing as she had lived in the country area of chicago where there were rolling hills and animals everywhere. here in charleston it was bright and busy, what with all of the tourists and the beach and shit. school had been a drag, and elise had only made four really close friends. she had been labeled as a 'nerd', just because she told the class that she enjoyed reading when the teacher asked what her interests were. her school had been filled with blonde, preppy cheerleaders and cocky, perverted surfer dudes. and, seeing as the school was at the beach, it was naturally a party school. not that she had ever been invited to a party.
her parents had expected her to pack and move without a fight. and elise certainly had put up a fight, which only resulted in getting grounded for the remainder of the summer. well, elise decided that she would pack, but she certainly wouldn't move. instead, els had packed a small duffle bag with clothes, money, three bottles of water, and a bag of potato chips. but, being the good child that she was, elise couldn't resist leaving a note to tell her parents that she was okay and to not call the police. they probably would, anyway, seeing ad they never listened to her. but she still wanted to leave a note. and, even though it was absolutely pouring outside, she knew that she had to leave tonight. the addams were leaving first thing in the morning to head off to phoenix, arizona.
elise lived in the basement (yes, the basement), and it made it a bit easy for her to sneak out. the girl had a tiny little window in the upper right corner of the wall facing her bed, which she could just barely fit through. if she stood on her desk, she'd just be able to reach it. as she clambered on top of the sturdy piece of furniture, elise shoved her bag through the window and proceeded to hoist herself up and through, too. she was instantly glad that she had chosen to wear her windbreaker, seeing as she was currently laying in the mud with rain beating on her back. there wasn't much to say for her jeans, though, as the squishy wet dirt managed to seep through the tiny fibers. with mud clinging to her legs, elise stood up and grabbed her duffle and dashed to her bike, soccer cleats leaving tracks. stuffing the bag on it's side into the basket, ellie hopped on and pedaled furiously in the rain over the slippery, wet pavement. her dark brown hair was hidden under the red hood, and the only part you could see of her was her pale, pale face. and elise kept on at this, pedaling and pedaling and pedaling. at least she was getting a workout. turning around the corner, ellie found herself cruising along the famous rainbow row. there was a park nearby, with a rather large oak tree that was ideal for climbing and taking afternoon naps in. her temporary home for the night.
by the time she had gotten there, the rain had reduced to a mere drizzle. the girl had been pedaling nonstop for what seemed to be half an hour now, and her legs felt as if they were about to give in. elise started to doubt her chance of making it to the tree as she pulled out her bike chain from the front pocket of her windbreaker. she waited for the sound of the tiny little "click!" before she started to make her way towards the tree. elise didn't know what to do. perhaps the girl could possibly stay at a friend's house, but she highly doubted that their parents would approve of that. not unless her parents didn't know...oh, nervermind. the sound of thunder was still ringing through her ears, giving her a major headache. she'd figure this out tomorrow, when her mind was clear and so was the sky. making a beeline towards the tree, elise proceeded to do the same prodecure she always used when climbing up this tree. placing her right foot on a nub that stuck outwards, elise placed her left hand on one of the lower branches. kicking off of the nub, her right foot landed on a branch right next to her hand. hoisting her left leg up, she placed it on the branch with her left hand a slowly stood up, both hands gripping some random branch. to her surprise, though, elise found that her bed was currently occupied.
